English courses for speakers of other languages are offered at the following three levels:
- Beginner
- Pre-intermediate
- Intermediate
All courses lead to a recognised University of Cambridge qualification.
ESOL courses are delivered at all centres and at various community outreach centres. We are willing to provide ESOL teaching to any community group at their own centre/s or venue/s, and at times that will suit them provided the number of people is 10 and above.
We also teach basic computer skills with ESOL, using our laptop computers. Please come and speak to us if interested.
AIMS

- To gain a recognised University of Cambridge qualification
- To improve performance on the IT courses
EXAM LEVELS
Entry level 1 - Level 2
ASSESSMENT
At each level, three separate modes are assessed:

Reading
- Writing
- Speaking and Listening
ESOL Skills for Life is wholly externally assessed, by trained and experienced examiners.

An initial diagnostic assessment is required to determine your level. This is followed by an interview with one of the ESOL tutors.
