1. ILM Introductory Certificate in Team Leading
A focused foundation course in the essential components of leading a team. On completion, individuals may wish to move on to the full Certificate.
Duration
22 hours (excluding the assessment) normally completed within a 3-month period
Delivery Method
Structured workshops and self-study to meet the needs of the organisation and the individual.
Content
There is a 2-hour induction followed by six further segments (including The Role of The Team Leader) from the range of modules available in the full Certificate in Team Leading (minimum of one from each module).

Qualification Overview
The programme comprehensively covers the full range of responsibilities of the team leader and can be tailored to fit the specific needs of the employing Organisation and the individual.
Duration
65 hours (excluding the assessments) normally completed within a 12-month period.
Delivery Method
A combination of structured workshops and self-study to meet the needs of the organisation and the individual.
Content
There is a 3-hour induction followed by a total of four modules. Participants are required to complete the three core segments (shown in bold) in each module, plus an additional 2 segments in each module.
Assessment Method
Knowledge assessment, short presentation or team briefing, short work based project.
