MICROSOFT CERTIFIED DESKTOP SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (MCDST)
The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification will get you started in your ICT career by ensuring you have the skills to successfully troubleshoot desktop environments running on the Microsoft Windows operating system. This course is designed for starters; to help address a growing need for qualified help-desk professionals required throughout the industry. REQUIREMENTS
MCDST candidates are required to pass two core exams. Elective exams are not required.
Exam 70–271: Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System.
Exam 70–272: Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System
PRE-REQUISITE
You should be familiar with Windows environment, and have a good educational background. In general, you will need a good technical aptitude and should be seeking a career as Desktop support technician.
