MCSA ON MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 2003

The Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) credential proves that you have the skills to successfully implement, manage, and troubleshoot the ongoing needs of Microsoft Windows® 2003–based operating environments, including Windows .NET Server.

PRE-REQUISTE

 

An MCSA candidate should have 12 months experience of working with a desktop operating system, a network operating system, and an existing network infrastructure.

REQUIREMENTS

 

MCSA candidates are required to pass three core exams and one elective exam. The following tables list Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) courses designed to help you prepare for these exams.

 

Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) candidates on the Microsoft Windows Server™ 2003 track are required to satisfy the following requirements:

 

Two networking system exams: 

 

Exam 70–290: Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment.

 

Exam 70–291: Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure

 

One client operating system exam: 

 

Exam 70–270: Installing, Configuring, and Administering Microsoft Windows XP Professional

 

One Elective Exam (select 1):

 

Exam 70-299: Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Network

 

Exam 70-284: Implementing and Managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003
